Needed - Baptism Certificates for 1st Communion Students

Upcoming 1st Holy Eucharist Students

If you will have a child receiving the Sacrament of Holy Eucharist in May, please contact the office or your parish DRE to sign-up for preparation classes / information. Each student MUST have a copy of their baptism certificate on file at the office in order to be enrolled. Contact Cyndy or Angela for more information or if your child was baptized at one of the 4 Parishes, we can pull the necessary record. Thank you!

Oct 7 = Catholic Charities Mobile Bus

Catholic Charities Mobile Bus will return to the parish hall at St. Francis Xavier on Wednesday, Oct 7 from 9:30am to 1:30pm or until all supplies are gone.  Please share within our community and contact the office (620-364-5671) if you need a call-in for after hours pick-up. 

Items vary but can include:  milk, meat, eggs, fresh fruit/vegetables, bread, canned goods, diapers, wipes, clothing, household and seasonal supplies. 

 

Nov 6 = Red Cross Blood Drive

Red Cross Blood Mobile sponsored by St. Francis Xavier will be held Friday, Nov 6 at the parish hall from 11am – 5pm. 

There are 36 spots open and all blood types will be taken. To schedule a donation, call the Red Cross at 1-800-RED-CROSS, the office or contact youth coordinator Nevaeh Myers.

Leaven Subscription Collection

Subscriptions for The Leaven are now being collected at each parish. Every family receives a copy of the Archdiocesan newspaper and is asked to help off-set the cost by donating directly to the parish. A yearly subscription is $28.00. Thank you in advance for your support!

God's Storehouse Donations

We are reminded to continue to pray for all those in need and if you can help those in our community by donating, it is greatly appreciated.   

God's Storehouse can use the following donations:  creamed soups, chunky soups, pasta sauce, crackers, hamburger and tuna helper, spaghetti, sloppy joe, egg noodles, boxed cereal, applesauce, canned fruit, flavored oatmeal, cake and brownie mixes, sauerkraut, spinach, canned asparagus, rice a roni, ramen noodles, rotel, chili beans, baked beans, dish soap, laundry detergent, paper towels, tissues, hygiene products (shampoo, deodorant, toothbrushes, dental floss, toothpaste, toilet paper, tampons, feminine pads), any shoes or boots, seasonal clothing (taking fall and winter clothing and coats at this time) and plastic bags.   

Donations can be dropped off at God's Storehouse directly during the week during the open hours of 9am - Noon - Monday to Friday and Tuesday evenings from 5 - 7pm.  Thank you!
